We are looking for well-experienced Casino Manager/Activity Staff (m/f) for a well-known

5*+ Superior European Cruise Line in “yacht style cruising” with mainly English speaking and international passengers and great itineraries throughout the world.

The Casino Manager duties will be combined with being part of the Activities Staff team and will be also be responsible for water sports and the overall Activity programs on board. You must have previous experience in a similar position within the high-profile cruise industry, ideally on small seagoing luxury-vessels.

You will be responsible to operate the casino in a safe & professional manner and ensure the casino is utilized by the passengers, as often as possible, you will also ensure that all guests are provided with excellent and personalized customer service, and ideally participate the on shore and on board Activities as directed by the Activity Manager. You should have solid customer experience as well as an outgoing and courteous personality and be a well-groomed appearance. You love to work with customers and know that a satisfied guest is the best guest. You like to talk and interact with other people and have also good experiences in complaint management.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Operate the Casino at the scheduled times based on the Daily Program.
• Conduct casino chip buy-ins & gambling credits.
• Offer casino currency exchange services.
• Offer games of poker, black jack and tournaments in accordance with the Casino Operations Manual.
• Carry-out daily casino soft counts and revenue reports in cooperation with the Chief Purser.
• Handle and/or settle casino guests' disputes and difficulties.
• Promote the casino to all guests onboard, attending the show case and offer gambling lessons.

You need to have strong organization skills, ideally incl. event planning/coordination, must have a friendly, outgoing approach and have a great social competence at all times - in addition you need to be stress-resistant, flexible and keep a calm mind, even in the busy times on board.

Fluent English is required and preferably at least one other European language, and in addition have very good computer skills.
