Human Recourses Manager (m/f)

We are looking for a well experienced Human Recourses Manager (m/f) for a great 5* American Cruise Line with international passengers and great itineraries throughout the world. The Human Recourses Manager oversees the complete

HR-Department,  including Training & Development, and conducts general training courses including, but not limited to, Hospitality, Company Orientation, Ship Familiarization, Management Training, and Customer Service Training.

You must have extremely good knowledge as HR Manager, and must have at least three years ship experience at management level in HR and/or T&D - ideally you also have a trainer degree from an int. recognized institution. You will be responsible for data recording, constantly maintaining a current data base on all HR related information and training programs, as well as issuing crew reports and evaluations - along with work schedules and vacation planning.

In addition to your HR Mgr. duties, you will also be involved in Purser duties – so you should have experience as Clearance/Crew Purser or in a similar position on a seagoing vessel and be a motivated, well organized crew member. You love to work with an international Team and have extensive cash-handling experience, dealing with Port Authorities and all required paperwork for the crew and the vessel is in your nature and comes easy for you.

You should have excellent communication skills, combined with exceptional written and oral communication skill in an international environment and with various of Nationalities as Crew Members. You should be well organized, have a positive, open minded personality and be stress-resistant at all times.

We are looking for a “true” team player and not just plain HR Manager - combined with great administration skills! Also the position requires the ability to motivate, lead and support an international team on board, while leading by example.

Fluent English is required, any additional European language would be a big plus.

Also required are outstanding computer skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and MAPS.
