Security Officer (m/f)

Your chartered course:

• You will coordinate and control the implementation of security measures to protect guests and crew members, and implement the requirements of international regulations
• You also compile security analyses and concepts for regions and institutions with particular security risks or significance
• You will manage a team of up to nine employees
• You will assist in security inspections on board, and conduct appropriate drills in close coordination with the Safety and Environmental Protection departments
• You have to induct new crew members in security-related regulations

Your previous ports of call:

• You have a degree in Security Management or an equivalent professional qualification from the police, army or comparable authority
• You are a practitioner with professional and managerial experience in relevant security fields, e.g. technical and staff monitoring and protection measures, de-escalation techniques and investigation management
• You have international experience in security projects, ideally working with teams of different nationalities
• You have a very good knowledge of English and are proficient in the use of MS Office
• You also stand out thanks to your decisiveness, assertiveness and strong communication skills
