Doctor - Cruise

The Company

I am currently working with a Leading Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Doctor on board.

The Role

In this 'hands on' position as Doctor you will report directly into the Staff Captain, and enjoy the responsibility and authority that the role offers.

You will provide medical services to guests and crew, and assist the Staff Captain with shipboard health related matters, including illness reporting and outbreak prevention.

As Doctor on board you will ensure that all guests receive the best quality of care, and that all care is delivered in line with international and company policies and legislation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years experience as Doctor
• English and German language skills (intermediate level or higher)
• Seagoing experience is an advantage
• 5 years clinical experience working in Acute care
• 1 year experience in Cardiac Life Support
• Medical Degree from a recognised college/University
• An active medical license
• Excellent interpersonal skills
