Junior Engineer - River Cruise - France

I am currently working with leading European River Cruise Company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Engineer to join their team on board ASAP in France.

Candidates should have experience in this position within the cruise industry OR have a wide spread of experience in different fields with general mechanics, electricity, diesel motors and generators, as well as good basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics' and already have the existing right to live and work in France.

As the Junior Engineer, you will be responsible for the daily technical running of the ship and assisting the Engineers with their normal operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Passenger vessel / general maintenance experience
• Knowledge of general mechanics, electricity, diesel motors and generators, as well as good basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics'
• Good Command of the English and French Language - German is also beneficial
• Existing right to live and work in Europe and be currently living in France
