Costa Crociere is seeking a talented and energetic OCC Operator to join the Corporate Travel Services & Operations Team, our 24/7 center whose core mission is to deliver qualified and prompt assistance to Guests, Crew Members and Shoreside Employees during any disruption and/or emergency. This team makes a tremendous impact on the Cruise Experience by providing a professional solution for any issue arising along the journey to reach the vessel or to go back home at the end of the cruise. The person will be responsible for managing the whole travel process by meaning air reservation, transfer and hotel bookings always keeping in mind quality services and cost effective solutions. The position is part-time and availability to work on shifts in a 24h/7-days office is mandatory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling disruptions involving Guests, Crew Members and Shoreside Employees during their travels and/or in case of last minute ship’s deployment changes.
  • Managing disruptions in case of vessel’s delay and/or port cancellation due to bad weather conditions.
  • Supporting Inventory Department for any issue related to cruise tickets and cabin accommodation during weekends and bank holidays.
  • Supporting Destination Management Department for shore excursions set up and operations.
  • Booking hotel, transfers, cars and air tickets in contingency.
  • Guaranteeing delivery of Flights passengers’ list, Ground Services and Airport Assistance manifest to Ground Agents and Port Agents both during peace time and in emergency.
  • Monitoring flight and ground operations providing assistance in case of any schedule change.
  • Responding timely to ad-hoc requests for analysis and financial assessment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Data driven approach to decision making and problem solving combined with sense of business and commercial awareness.
  • Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level is required).
  • Proficiency in Excel, experience to work with large database and Amadeus knowledge would be a plus.
  • Previous professional experience with Airlines, Tour Operators and/or Travel Agencies will be evaluated as additional plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong enterpreunerial attitude.
  • Confidence under pressure and ability to identify and resolve problems with some degree of autonomy and supervision.
