Senior Develops Engineer (F/M), Hamburg

The Digital Unit is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team.

In the heart of HafenCity, Hamburg, the Digital Unit is driving the digital transformation at Costa Group (AIDA & Costa Cruises). As a DevOps engineer with us, you will work with other developers, user experience designers, data analysts and product owners to develop and improve new feature while keeping performance, scalability and deployment in mind.

Your code will deploy to and run on the floating cities of the sea - cruise ships. This unique situation calls for a mixed and adaptable set of coding skills. Often the usual taken for granted solutions simply don't work when deployed to a ship. If the sound of this challenge is getting you excited - we'd love to meet you!

SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER (F/M), HAMBURG

WHO YOU ARE:

• You are an expert in your area, familiar with advanced DevOps challenges in the cloud and on premise.
• You are at home setting-up CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• You have solid understanding of the full application technology stack, as well as how to handle dropped internet connections during a deployment via a satellite connection.
• You could ship an entire app on your own if you wanted to, but prefer working with others to write well-designed, tested, and scalable software in pairs.
• You are comfortable communicating in English for coding and in meetings (we try not to have too many).
