Further Details: 3R Global are currently looking for a highly motivated, knowledgeable and experienced Captain. It is a great opportunity to join an award winning cruise line.

What you will be doing:

• As Captain you will be responsible for the safety of the ship, equipment, passengers, crew and the safe operation of his vessel whilst at the same time responsible for protecting Company's commercial interests.
• The Captain has the overriding authority and responsibility to make decision with respect to Safety, Security and Pollution Prevention.
• You will be implementing the Safety and Quality Policy and Alcohol & Drug Policy of Company. Motivating the crew in the observance of that policy.
• In case of high or low water, collision, technical problems, the Master must appear together with the PRD before the guests and give them the information.
• You will be issuing appropriate orders in a clear and simple manner.
• As Captain, you will be verifying that all specified Company rules and regulations are observed.
• You will ensure that all international, national and local, laws and regulations (as applicable) are adhered to.
• As Captain you will be responsible for the maintenance of the ship, installation and equipment.
• You will conduct routine inspections of the ship, including cabins, with Hotel Manager and Engineer.
• As Captain you will be keeping account or the ship's cash during laid-up periods (winter) and auditing the expenses.
• You will establish the roster for bridge watches at sea/on river according to regulations.
• As Captain, you will be responsible for keeping shipboard documentation and administration updated.
• You will be responsible for appraising all crewmembers. - Standing orders issued by the Master may augment and complement the Shipboard Manual, but cannot in any way conflict with it. - Deviating from the travel schedule for personal reasons can result in dismissal

What you will need:

• You MUST hold both RHINE and DANUBE Licenses
• Recent and relevant experience as Captain
• Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English and German
