Business Intelligence Analyst Costa Crociere is seeking a talented and energetic Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Business Intelligence & Sales Analysis Team, whose core mission is supporting strategic decisions to increase sales opportunities, revenues and profitability for the Company. This team has a big impact in the performance of the Country by planning commercial initiatives, monitoring, forecasting results, assessing both risks and opportunities. The resource will work in the Sales Department and report directly to the Head of Business Intelligence & Sales Analysis. At the same time, s/he will liaise constantly with the Country Manager, Sales Force and Consumer, Trade and Web Marketing Departments, Commercial Planning and Revenue Management in order to maximize the results of the various business initiatives carried out. The successful candidate has excellent analytical skills, business acumen and entrepreneurial flair.
Job Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring sales analysis (daily, weekly) per product, distibution channel and customer
- Forecast and planning in order to define risks and opportunities
- Delivering high quality quantitive analysis to support commercial and sales actions
- Responding timely to ad-hoc requests for analysis aimed at identifying and detailing sales performance trends
- Monitoring and analysis of competitive scenario
- Communication and relationship with key stakeholders in other departments
- Supporting local market for BTL consumer and trade campaign design and development
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree in Engineering Management, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics (or other studies with significant numerical background).
- Data driven approach to decision making and problem solving combined with sense of business and commercial awareness
- Strong analytical skills; proven experience to structure and analyze ambiguous and complex business problems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and in general experience to work with large database, SQL & VBA would be a plus
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong enterpreunerial attitude
- Confidence under pressure and ability to identify and resolve problems with some degree of autonomy and supervision
- Good knowledge of English), every other languages would be a plus
