PURPOSE OF POSITION

You are an ambitious graduate with a couple of years professional experience and you want to further develop your professional skills and learn how to work in a very dynamic and curious environment, growing your role over time, then we’d love you to join us as an HR Solutions Analyst. In this role, you are asked to continually build new skills and address new problems. Your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, project and leadership skills will be called upon from day one. You will work side by side with key leaders in our organization and help to shape the future of a fast growing company. This interesting and diverse position is located in Basel/Switzerland and reports directly to the Vice President Human Resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run own projects and/or support projects hands-on in line with company methodology (incl. Business Case Calculation / Documentation / Communication) on time and in budget.   
  • Take responsibility for identifying information sources, gathering, troubleshooting and interpreting data, and presenting facts & findings that outline solutions to HR leadership team
  • Analyze HR processes for optimization potential. Design & implement new efficiency enhanced processes together with IT Business solutions, external solutions provider & other stakeholders
  • Ability to assess processes “AS-IS” and foresee a “TO-BE” process with respect to automation and creating efficiencies.
  • Is up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. Any experience with SuccessFactors HCM solutions is a plus.
  • Establish & Manage HR process overview and ensure documentation and up-to-date policies
  • Ability to develop standard and Adhoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards and/or key performance indicators/ metrics for the HR business. Any experience with SQL and building dashboards with Microsoft PowerBI is a plus.
  • Manage and publish periodic reports related to cost and HR metrics across Departments
  • Support the HR budgeting & cost control process 
  • Collaborate with Directors and Managers across the department in building improvement solutions and implementation plans to drive change
  • Create and update presentations for the Executive management team in ongoing strategy development

QUALIFICATION PROFILE

  • A robust analytical skill set, an endless curiosity and an inclination for thinking the impossible
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel (Pivots, Macros) and PowerPoint.
  • Deadline-driven, organized and able to multitask and work independently
  • Experience in project management and passion for implementation with impact (output-oriented mindset). Project Management certification such as PMP® or PRINCE2® is a plus
  • Loves challenges, is a quick self-learner and a good team-player  
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Fluency in  English is mandatory, additional languages (i.e. Mandarin /German) are a plus
