Casino Customer Service Staff (m/f)
worldwide operations in our Casinos on board a cruise ship with German- and Spanish speaking guests

For the overall operation of the assigned on board Casino, we are looking for cosmopolitan employees who are interested in supporting our staff. As part of the Merkur Mare family you will constantly strive to create an entertaining gaming experience and provide a superb customer service to our guests enjoying the on board Casino. RESPONSIBILITES:

  • As part of our Casino Team you provide excellent service to our guests that will encourage them to spend a major part of their time in the Casino which includes slots, tables, video arcades, as well as assisting with lotto and bingo events.
  • You ensure that all guests’ needs are attended to promptly and efficiently, maintaining the highest service standards at all times.
  • During your shift you are responsible for the running, presentation and overall effectiveness of all promotional events such as tournaments, gaming lessons etc.
  • Where applicable, deal table games in a non-intimidating, friendly and professional manner according to the on board procedure manual.
  • Assist with daily tasks to operate the casino, including payments at the cash desk, assisting with slot calls and counting of funds.
  • Furthermore it can be possible that you need to look after the service maintenance for supplementary Casino equipment and that you support the Casino Manager concerning any operational processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have already worked in the field of customer service.
  • Experience of working in a Casino or an arcade environment is desirable.
  • If not, we offer you a trainee position in one of our casinos, in order to get all necessary qualifications in blackjack, poker and roulette.
  • English should be fluent, German and Spanish are of benefit, and any additional European language is considered as an advantage.
  • A Customer-oriented attitude, excellent ways of behaving, distinct communication skills and a well-groomed appearance are a must.
  • Strong willingness and ability to travel (5-6 months on board).
