Casino Cashier

EMPLOYER : ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINE / CELEBRITY CRUISE LINE

The candidate should have three years cash handling experience in a customer contact position within the casino, hotel, banking or related industry. The candidate should also have the ability to count chips and paper currency quickly and accurately and should also be able to operate coin counters, chip mechanism, 10 key adding machine and related equipment.

Exchanges chips, cash, coins, checks, credit and/or other monetary notes. Accurately counts chips, cash, coins in a quick and efficient manner. Receives coins or casino chips from guests requesting paper and/or coin currency equivalency.
Operates electronic coin counter or counts chips to determine correct exchange values. Provides guests with paper currency and/or coin equivalency.
Obtains approval for credit card transactions; charges individual accounts for chips issued; maintains Credit Card Log.

Minimum requirements

Age : at least 21 years old
Three ( 3 ) or more years previous live casino experience, / or cruise ship experience , similar position .
Language skills: English – advanced level – MANDATORY
Additional language skills: German, Italian, French, Spanish etc

Contract details

Contract: 6 months
Vacation: 2 months between contracts
Salary: 1979 USD/month ( minimum monthly guaranteed salary), tipped position, final salary varies from one month to another
Facilities on board : free of charge offered by the Company ( accommodation, meals, medical services )
Accommodation : shared cabin of two
Work schedule : 7 days / week , 8-10 hours /day ( shifts )
Job Cruise FEE : NO FEE for recruitment/ embarkation process
Embarkation costs : depending on ship/ itinerary (medical files, required visas, flight ticket)
