Presidents Office Technical Operations Manager

JOB PURPOSE

The P.O. Technical Ops Manager supports the President in the execution of the operational plans of MSC Cruise Management. The chosen candidate will help in ensuring the delivery of the operational plans in close contacts with all the Senior/Top Management of the organizations. The activities range from cascading to the organization the work plans coming from the President to ensuring to meet the new building and the fleet operational deadlines, preparing executive presentations, proactively organizing technical meetings, agendas, note taking, assignment of to-do lists. The chosen candidate will also have to travel extensively to shipyards and various other locations to support the President in the organizational and successful delivery of a very busy agenda.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Assist in organizing Top Management meetings both locally, with our peripheral business units, with external strategic vendors/partners and with the HQ in Geneva
• Preparing Executive presentations for various stakeholders, requiring maritime and technical knowledge
• Accompanying the President in business trips, ensuring an organized and successful delivery of the business agenda
• Creating monitoring tools, such as dashboards, reporting and operational timelines to ensure the proper business plan execution and control activities
• Supporting the President whilst liaise with the Top Management of Cruise Management regarding daily activities

QUALIFICATIONS

• English fluency, Italian is a plus
• University degree in Naval Engineering or Naval Architecture are preferable
• At least 5 years of marine/shipyard experience
• Professional use of Microsoft Office
• Great communicator, able to simplify complexity
• Able to influence behaviours with tact and professionalism
