Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, newly created European luxury cruise brand, inspired by Swiss Hospitality and luxury in Geneva.

Leveraging our parent company MSC Group`s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, we are starting the build-up of our fleet of six ships (first one “Explora I” due to be launched in May 2023) designed and operated in a way to elevate luxury cruising to the next level. We are creating a new independent team, able to write a new successful chapter of the MSC Group history.

To assist in managing a world-leading comprehensive air services program that will support travel advisors and direct guests who wish to book air when booking an Explora Journeys journey and pre/post journey offerings for guests across the globe.


  • Manages the regions financial stability with regards to keeping costs within the set subsidy/price as agreed upon with RM and the Air Finance specialist
  • Supervises and coordinates global air ambassadors to effectively provide a high level of service to the Explora Experience Centre, travel partners, and guests
  • Provides guidance and support to global Air Ambassadors on how to manage their workload and streamline their daily processes and effectiveness in managing guest and travel partner requests
  • Supports the identification of potential areas of improvements / criticalities in front-end processes to ensure the highest service level
  • Ensures the accurate set-up and maintenance of air products and pricing on reservation systems
  • Ensures the timely and accurate implementation of business initiatives including air programmes
  • Monitors air daily reports to ensure quality and accuracy in the execution of new and changed bookings, acting where appropriate in all systems
  • Manage air emergencies that may come up relating to schedule changes, cancellations, weather delays, ship delays, ship cancellation, guest repatriations, etc.


  • Excellent communication with solid organisation and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical ability and extreme attention to detail with the dedication to follow tasks though to completion
  • Ability to persuade and influence with a collaborative style and comfortable interacting with senior leadership (experience in global team coordination is valued)
  • Proven experience in the Cruise, Travel or Airlines industry with solid knowledge of airlines revenue management and pricing strategy
  • Excellent knowledge of booking processes and comprehensive experience of using systems including Amadeus and Seaware
  • Working knowledge of ARC and BSP accreditation process
