Bartender - Egyptian Nationals

Line Crewing is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Bartender to work onboard European river cruise vessels, with full onboard accommodation provided.

Experience, Skills, and Character

• Minimum 1 year experience as a bartender in hotels, bars, or onboard cruise vessels.
• Excellent command of English and/or German; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong public relations and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of drink preparation, cocktail recipes, and beverage service standards.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and crew at all levels.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised.
• Ability to work flexible schedules according to company standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Service & Operations:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards.
• Ensure all drinks are served efficiently, professionally, and with a friendly attitude.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist guests with special requests and provide personalized service.

Communication & Teamwork:

• Maintain effective communication with other departments, including Restaurant and Reception.
• Report any incidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to the Bar Supervisor or Hotel Manager.
• Train and guide junior bar staff when required.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere to security, fire, and safety procedures onboard the vessel.
• Follow company standards regarding cash handling and inventory management.
