POSITION SUMMARY
The Junior Concierge supports the delivery of exceptional destination experiences by providing operational and administrative support to the Concierge team. This role is responsible for destination research, voyage preparation, port inspections, and assisting with shore experience operations to ensure a seamless guest journey.

Essential Duties

• Conduct research on upcoming ports, destinations, and local experiences to support the Concierge team with accurate and relevant destination information.
• Prepare and maintain destination resources, including Port Snapshots, Concierge guides, itineraries, guest communications, and supporting materials.
• Support pre-voyage preparation and daily shore experience operations, including dispatch, ticketing, and guest communication.
• Assist with the preparation and communication of guest arrangements, including cancellations, changes, and special requests.
• Conduct port inspections where required and share operational observations with the Concierge team.
• Collaborate with the Publishing Content Specialist to ensure destination collateral and guest information remain current and accurate.
• Provide support and coverage for the destination desk as required, assisting guests with destination-related inquiries and requests.
• Collaborate with onboard departments, including Destination Experiences, Guest Services, Suite Ambassadors, and other operational teams, to support the seamless delivery of guest experiences.
• Support the preparation and organization of shore experience materials, including tour information, guest tickets, dispatch documentation, and other operational requirements.
• May be requested to support operational translation services.

Qualifications

• Hold valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the contract's duration, as appropriate to the position.
• Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in Concierge, Destination Experiences, Tourism, or another guest-facing role within an ultra-luxury hospitality environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant operational systems to support documentation, reporting, and daily communication.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an outgoing personality and the ability to confidently engage with guests while preparing clear and informative documentation.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is highly desirable, with emphasis on French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Mandarin, Russian, and/or Arabic.
• Demonstrate interest and knowledge in destinations, cultures, and local experiences, with the ability to support the Concierge team in delivering personalized guest experiences.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the Lady or Gentleman is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The Lady or Gentleman must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs, as well as full visual, verbal, and hearing abilities, are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency, including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.

All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors, and co-workers.
