- Analyze internal documents, incident reports, correspondence, and other relevant materials and compare documents provided by outside counsel to determine claim management strategy.
- Assist with subpoena responses, regulatory inquiries, and records requests.
- Draft and edit litigation-related documents, including legal correspondence, summaries, and status updates.
- Conduct legal and factual research, including review of case law, statutes, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, databases, and document management systems.
- Support internal investigations and audits as needed.
- Track litigation spend and assist with budgeting and accruals related to ongoing matters.
- Attend mediations as MSC’s corporate representative.
Your Journey so far
- 3-5 years of experience in federal court litigation
- Admission to the Florida Bar
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures in federal and state courts.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management systems.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, concurrent matters.
