We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Food & Beverage Director to support the overall operation of the Food & Beverage department onboard. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving guest satisfaction, and supporting financial performance across all dining and beverage venues.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Food & Beverage Director in managing daily F&B operations across all outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and storerooms.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, service standards, and menu/signage programs.
• Oversee operations in Lido, dining venues, Team Dining, and Room Service.
• Support planning and execution of special events, promotions, and onboard initiatives.
• Monitor inventory levels, equipment condition, and coordinate maintenance when needed.
• Maintain a visible presence during peak service to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Train, coach, and supervise team members to deliver service excellence.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and public health standards (USPH, HACCP, etc.).
• Review guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance service and revenue.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and waste management policies.
Guest Experience
• Deliver exceptional guest service aligned with brand standards.
• Analyze feedback and drive continuous improvement in service and offerings.
• Promote digital tools to enhance onboard experience and revenue opportunities.
Leadership & Development
• Lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and development planning.
• Address performance issues and support career growth initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior F&B leadership role (cruise ship or luxury hotel/resort).
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and public health standards (USPH preferred).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (Dutch, Spanish, German) are an advantage.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and high-pressure environment.
Erforderliche Berufserfahrung
