**THIS POSITION IS ONBOARD**
The Revenue & Marketing Analyst (RMA) is responsible for supporting efforts to generate shipboard revenue by analyzing data and delivering insights. The RMA provides critical visibility to shipboard and shoreside revenue leaders, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning. In addition to revenue, the RMA also analyzes and reports on guest satisfaction. With access to cutting-edge tools and data, the RMA plays an integral role in the brand’s ambition to drive impact with sales and promotional campaigns and strategic initiatives, enhancing the guest experience and contributing directly to the company's financial success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Revenue
- Analyze pre‑cruise, embarkation‑day, and in‑sailing revenue performance to identify promotional opportunities, inform decisions, and track progress against targets.
- Evaluate sell‑through, inventory, and capacity data for Shore Excursions and Ship Experiences to identify opportunities to add inventory or increase capacity.
- Produce ad‑hoc analytical reports for shoreside leadership, translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations for shipboard leaders across all revenue areas.
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits, monitor guest feedback to identify trends, and maintain strong collaboration with the shoreside Onboard Commercial team.
Guest Facing Communications & Promotions
- Manage targeted offer initiatives across onboard revenue areas, collaborating with shoreside and shipboard teams to maximize revenue and ensure a seamless guest journey from receipt to redemption.
- Execute and quality‑check all targeted offer processes, including system setup, dashboard reviews, POS readiness, guest account uploads, cabin drops, and audits for brand, legal, and SOP compliance.
- Coordinate and communicate all in‑cruise promotions, ensuring alignment between targeted offers and mass promotions, timely delivery of collateral, and effective cross‑functional execution.
- Monitor performance and guest impact to mitigate over‑marketing risks, document best practices, and share insights and recommendations with the Revenue & Marketing Director and key stakeholders.
Reporting
- Prepare End‑of‑Voyage revenue and guest satisfaction reports for the Revenue & Marketing Director and Hotel Director, delivering consolidated insights, trends, findings, and recommended actions to shoreside leadership.
- Provide approved ad‑hoc and post‑cruise analyses—including Medallia satisfaction insights, suite performance data, and primary research—to support operational leaders, Butler communications, and targeted promotional strategies.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years in a data analysis role, including financial or business analysis, preferably in the hospitality, cruise, or related industries.
- Experience analyzing financial data, market or business trends, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to shipboard and shoreside management.
- High degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas and functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
LANGUAGE REQUIEREMENTS
The Revenue & Marketing Analyst must be fluent in both spoken and written English.
