The Costa Digital team is driving a digital transformation of the cruising industry as part of the Costa Group by delivering successful customer facing products and internal tools. We are responsible for the overall digital customer experience on and off shore.

Data Scientist (m/f)

About the role:

As a Data Scientist and part of an agile software development team based in Hamburg you are going to collaborate closely with your fellow engineers, designers, data analysts, data scientists and product owners to build data-driven customer facing products as well as internal tools for our colleagues.

What you can help us with:

• Help build new products based on large data sets
• State your opinions and contribute to an inclusive decision-making process
• Help our engineers with implementing recommender systems
• Build a services oriented platform based on APIs
• Introduce and establish data science best practices
• Learn new things, mentor and share knowledge with team members

Who you are:

• Have a drive to help remove roadblocks and solve problems with teams and individuals
• The ability to stay focused on the most important things
• A deep understanding of how agile product teams work and motivation to get involved with helping improve things
• Possess extensive experience programming in, e.g. Python or Scala
