The Digital Unit is looking for a talented mobile dev to join our team.

In the heart of HafenCity, Hamburg, the Digital Unit is driving the digital transformation at Costa Group (AIDA & Costa Cruises). As a mobile dev with us, you will work with other developers, user experience designers, data analysts and product owners to develop and improve new features while keeping performance, scalability and deployment in mind.

Your code will deploy to and run on the floating cities of the sea - cruise ships. This unique situation calls for a mixed and adaptable set of coding skills. Often the usual taken for granted solutions simply don't work when deployed to a ship. If the sound of this challenge is getting you excited - we'd love to meet you!

THE 'TECH STACK'

We use a variety of technologies to code and ship our products. If Swift for iOS/tvOS, Kotlin for Android or advanced mobile web development tickles your fancy, let's talk! Of course, you're not expected to have mastered it all but deep knowledge of some, along with a hunger to learn new things as needed, is desired.

SENIOR MOBILE DEV (F/M), HAMBURG

WHO YOU ARE:

• You are an expert in your area, familiar with mobile development challenges as well as sitting down to do some solid functional programming to extend a Backend For Frontend (BFF).
• You fancy applying CI/CD techniques and writing automated tests.
• You have solid understanding of the full application technology stack, as well as how to handle dropped internet connections in applications.
• You could ship an entire mobile app on your own if you wanted to, but prefer working with others to write well-designed, tested, and scalable software in pairs.
• You are comfortable communicating in English for coding and in meetings (we try not to have too many).
