A luxury cruise company are seeking a professional Crew Purser to join their fleet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation and administration of an accurate payroll, on board crew accounts and processing crew cash advancesand crew bank wires as per company guidelines. They will also, liaise with agents and Heads Of Departments for crew travel arrangements whilst maintaining accurate and complete administration of crew files including certification, travel documents, personal details, etc. Other responsibilities include crew medical disembarks in cooperation with the Medical team, being able to manage cash floats and request required funds from the Chief Purser in timely manner as well as ensure vessel distribution of particular crew manifest information and all crew passport and visa validity.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience in the Pursers department on board a vessel with shipboard experience being essential. They will also have a strong financial background, with relative accounting and administration skills. Candidates should have the ability to work independently, maintain a positive and approachable personality, as well as professional appearance, excellent communication skills. Language skills required: English A2, German B2 

Seafarers Medical / STCW will be required.

The rotation will be 4-6 months on, 2 months off dependant on operational needs. Salary paid in EUROS.
