We are currently looking for a EUROPEAN CHIEF OFFICER with GENERAL CARGO VESSEL EXPERIENCE

Must have ship exp, C1D Visa and all valid STCW2010

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigation: Assists the Captain in navigating the ship, ensuring safe passage.
  • Cargo Operations: Oversees loading, unloading, and stowage of cargo, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
  • Ship Safety: Supervises deck crew, maintains safety equipment, and conducts drills.
  • Crew Management: Leads the deck crew, assigns tasks, and ensures adherence to safety and operational procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensures adherence to international and local maritime regulations, including those related to safety, pollution prevention, and security.
  • Maintenance: Oversees maintenance and repair of deck equipment and machinery.
  • Voyage Planning: Contributes to voyage planning, weather monitoring, and documentation.
  • Communication: Acts as a liaison between the Captain and the rest of the crew.
  • Training: May train junior officers and crew members.
  • Ship Security: May act as the Ship Security Officer, responsible for security procedures.
  • Leader responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the vessel's deck department and cargo operations.

Requirements:

General Cargo Vessel Experience

Valid documents to join (STCW78 certification, Seaman Book, CoC ...)

  • Fluent knowledge of English 
  • EUROPEAN PASSPORT!!
