Musician / Pianist / DJ with English

COTE Job Agency is a Recruitment company based in Europe. We are looking for a Musician / Pianist / DJ for Ocean Yachts

The Entertainer is responsible for the musical entertainment of the guests and is asked occasionally to do some cruise staff duties including escorting shore excursions to assist the Cruise Director.

Scope of Duties/ responsibilities/ competences Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform as an Entertainer mainly at following times:
- Embarkation
- Tea Time
- Cocktail Hour
- After Dinner
- Activities like lunch on deck and BBQ on deck

Act mainly as a disc jockey with recorded music mainly from an I Pad or own DJ equipment.

Business Spotify account (soundtrack your brand) is provided by the ship at any time. Perform Sea Shanties onboard the sailing vessels once a cruise

If music is performed on Lido deck the entertainer may perform on a Keyboard. The entertainer can perform on the Piano in the lounge. The entertainer is responsible for the maintenance of the instruments, firstly to inform the Hotel manager if needed. The entertainer needs to be flexible to switch in between different kind of music styles if the audience and the atmosphere require it. A large knowledge of titles and playlist is required, which should include classical, easy listening, pop, lounge, disco … music. The entertainer should cheerfully encourage guests to make musical requests and always play at a volume most suited to the guests wishes.

Dress Code:
Always be dressed casual elegant and perform in formal attire during Captain’s Cocktail Parties
Daily Uniform will be provided on board each vessel
Visible tattoos, piercing and any kind of tooth ornaments are strictly prohibited
Hair, Make Up and Jewelry should be worn in a ‘casual elegant and tidy’ way

REQUIREMENTS:
- EXPERIENCE ON SHIP;

- EXPERIENCE as Musician/ Pianist or DJ

- English Language
