Are you a passionate host and you enjoy working with people?

As a Guest-Relations Host, you will ensure that guests have an unforgettable experience, be on excursions, day activities or when leaving the next port.

Your responsibilities

GUEST HOST:

  • Contact person and host for the guests - active guest contact in the public areas.
  • Competent advice and support for guests
  • Providing destination information
  • Receiving and processing complaints
  • Concierge service (fulfilling individual wishes of the guests)

ENTERTAINMENT:

  • Design and implementation of an entertaining day and evening programme for the guests in cooperation with the hotel manager, the host entertainment and the shore excursion expert
  • Independently conduct game rounds, guest social gatherings, small talk, etc.
  • Responsibility for providing the entertainment equipment (board games, sun deck games, etc.)
  • Making announcements on board: general information, route info, etc.

EXCURSIONS:

Assisting the excursion expert in handling excursions.
Regular accompaniment of excursions

FRONT OFFICE:

Supporting the Front Office Team with operational activities

GENERAL:

Support with the processing of embarkation and disembarkation
Regular content production for social media
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the work area
As part of the pre-opening, additional tasks are to be carried out during the testing and takeover of the ships in accordance with site supervision and operations as instructed.

 

Your profile

  • Successful completion of a course of vocational training or study (internship possible)
  • Entertainment experience desirable
  • Experience in social media content production is an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English; other languages welcome
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Positive demeanour, excellent communication skills and team spirit
