Job Title: Technical Superintendent

Location: Hamburg, Germany 

Responsibilities:

Oversee the operational management of assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with international regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Collaborate closely with vessel crews, shore-based teams, and external stakeholders to optimize vessel performance and mitigate operational risks.
Provide expert guidance and support to onboard personnel, facilitating effective decision-making and problem-solving.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess vessel condition, maintenance standards, and safety protocols.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability.
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering strong relationships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent. Chief Engineers/Master qualifications also accepted.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the cruise industry, with a proven track record of sailing as a Senior Officer.
Alternatively, 5+ years of experience working as a superintendent in a similar position for a ship-owning or ship-management company.
In-depth knowledge of international maritime regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
