Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the operational management of assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess vessel condition, maintenance standards, and safety protocols.
Collaborate closely with vessel crews, shore-based teams, and external stakeholders to optimize vessel performance and mitigate operational risks.
Provide expert guidance and support to onboard personnel, facilitating effective decision-making and problem-solving.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability.
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering strong relationships.

Qualifications:

Master Unlimited qualification.
Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science or equivalent, or Masters Mariners qualification.
Minimum of 3 years of sailing experience as a Senior Officer (Staff Captain/Chief Officer) on board vessels.
Alternatively, 1-2 years of experience as a trainee/assistant or Marine Superintendent within a ship management/owning company.
Thorough understanding of international maritime regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
