Job Title: Dry Dock Project Manager – Cruise Industry
Location: Hamburg, Germany
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Travel: 25/50% Travel

I am seeking a dynamic and experienced Dry Dock Project Manager to lead and coordinate dry dock operations for our cruise fleet, based in Hamburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving multicultural teams and diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and oversee all dry dock and technical maintenance activities for cruise vessels
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with internal departments, shipyard personnel, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless operations
• Lead and manage cross-functional and multicultural teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Maintain clear, timely communication with all stakeholders, including technical and non-technical personnel
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Manage logistics processes, including material planning, delivery coordination, and yard readiness
• Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and updates using MS Excel and PowerPoint

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Project Management or a comparable technical qualification (e.g. Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the maritime or cruise sector, with a focus on dry dock operations
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multicultural and cross-functional teams
• Proven knowledge of logistics coordination and shipyard operations
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously
• High proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong MS Office 365 skills, with particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-changing environments
• Willingness to travel and take part in on-call/standby duties during project phases
