AV/IT Coordinator

Are you passionate about technology and the open sea? We’re looking for a dynamic AV/IT Coordinator to join our onboard team and ensure seamless audiovisual and IT operations across the ship. From supporting live entertainment to maintaining critical IT infrastructure, this role is vital to delivering an exceptional guest and crew experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all AV systems including lighting, sound, video, and projection equipment used in theaters, lounges, and public areas.
• Provide first-line support for onboard IT systems including networks, workstations, printers, and satellite communications.
• Collaborate with entertainment, hotel, and bridge teams to ensure smooth execution of events and presentations.
• Manage digital signage, IPTV systems, and onboard media servers.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of AV/IT equipment and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols and company IT policies.
• Assist with training crew on basic AV/IT usage and troubleshooting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or certification in AV Technology, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AV/IT support, preferably in hospitality, cruise, or entertainment industries.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, networking fundamentals, and AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Q-SYS, Dante).
• Experience with live event production and troubleshooting under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
