Laundryman for Orient Express Sailing Yachts

V.Ships Leisure is looking for Laundryman on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts.
The laundryman is responsible for the smooth operation of laundry services. To perform all assigned work related to the daily laundry operations, guests, crew, and linen distribution, under the supervision of the laundry master. 

Key Responsibilities

• Collects soiled linen for sorting, washing, ironing, dry cleaning, folding, and transferring to designated areas.
• Responsible for laundering the clothes and uniforms of guests and crew members.
• Knows how to use cleaning chemicals, and operate equipment and devices properly. Reports any equipment malfunctions, leaks, or problems to the Laundry Master.
• Ensures the laundry areas is cleaned and maintained as per USPH standards and coast guard regulation.
• Participates to scheduled inventories as needed.
• Active participation in onboard training programs.
• Additional duties, not mentioned here, will be expected as per management request. 

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• Languages: Fluent English.
• Education: High school degree or related.
• Previous professional experience: 2 years in a similar capacity in a luxury environment.
• Shipboard experience: Not required but preferred. 
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Pre-Employment Medical.
• C1D visa mandatory for all positions.
