Contract duration – 7 months

Main Function

The Senior Assistant Housekeeping Manager assists in overseeing daily housekeeping operations on board, ensuring clean, organized, and comfortable accommodations for all guests. Responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Manager, supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in oral and written English (working & safety language of the Company)
  • Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably on cruise ships or in international hospitality settings
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards, hygiene, and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and guest service abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a multicultural team environment

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations ensuring high guest satisfaction
  • Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff including cabin stewards and attendants
  • Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of guest cabins and public areas
  • Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to company standards
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Support inventory management, budgeting, and cost control measures
