Chief Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Chief Engineer to join our 66-meter private vessel dedicated to humanitarian operations in the Mediterranean Sea (Search and Rescue Vessel).

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance of all engineering systems onboard. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, troubleshooting, and planning abilities, ensuring all systems function effectively to support the vessel’s mission.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Minimum license: STCW III/3
• Proven experience as Chief Engineer on vessels over 50m
• In-depth knowledge of marine engineering systems, maintenance planning, and record keeping
• Valid STCW Basic Safety, Security Awareness, and medical certificate
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive approach
• Commitment to the humanitarian values and operational goals of the vessel
  
  

Contract: Permanent position with a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation.
