Shop Manager – Cruise Ship Position (Shop Supervisor also available)

We are currently recruiting for the position of Shop Manager on board international cruise ships.
A position for Shop Supervisor is also available.

1. Key Information / Job Facts

• Location: On board international cruise ships
• Start Date: To be determined (after completing mandatory STCW training)
• Contract Type: Fixed-term (5 months +/- 1 month)
• Accommodation: Single cabin, full board provided by the company
• Gross Monthly Salary:
• Base: €2,773
• Bonus: €1,350
• Travel Expenses: Covered by the employer (to and from the vessel)

2. Job Description – Shop Manager

• Managing the onboard retail team and coordinating the overall operation of shops and exhibition areas
• Achieving sales and service targets and ensuring excellent customer experience
• Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and marketing
• Coordinating loading/unloading operations and stock replenishment
• Building and maintaining strong guest relationships
• Collaborating with onboard and shore-based teams
• Leading, training, and developing a multicultural retail team
• Preparing and submitting sales reports, voyage summaries, and guest feedback analysis
• Ensuring compliance with international customs regulations and onboard procedures

3. Requirements

• Previous experience in a dynamic retail environment with team leadership responsibilities
• Strong customer service orientation and sales focus
• Good knowledge of visual merchandising
• Strong organizational skills, accountability, and goal orientation
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities in a multicultural environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
• English at B2 level
• Additional European language (Italian, French, German, Spanish) at B2 level
• Availability to live and work onboard for 5 months
• Willingness to complete mandatory STCW safety training (approx. 10 days)
