3rd Engineer

Duties include (but not limited to):

1. Take over and carry out the watch according to company and corporate standards.

2. Familiarization with all the safety plant like Hi-Fog System, fire system, sprinkler, emergency bilge and all the other emergency plants including emergency manual operation in case of some malfunction in the automatic system

3. Carry out maintenance and checks according to PMS in cooperation with the Senior Engineer of the watch.

4. Familiarize with the latest safety-, company- and environmental regulations and act accordingly.

5. Report all relevant changes and information to the SEOOW

6. Act according to Chief Engineer’s standing order and instructions given by his deputy.

7. Supports an effective and sustainable health and safety culture and environment on board, follows strictly HESS regulations and any Health and Safety Protocols in force to prevent the spread of diseases on board and reports to the Head of Department any observed violations of the Company's health procedures.
