Line Crewing is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Kitchen Porter/ Dishwasher to work onboard European river cruise vessels, with full onboard accommodation provided.
- will be under Seasonal Dutch Contracts, running from March to November, with a potential continuation into refugee operations thereafter. Contracts are based on 38 working hours per week, with overtime paid accordingly.

- A fast learner with an interest in kitchen work.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- English language skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised.
- High standards of personal hygiene.
- Ability to work flexible schedules according to company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
General Conduct:
- Maintain friendly and professional interactions with passengers and crew while staying focused on assigned tasks.
Kitchen Operations & Cleaning:
- Clean assigned working areas in the galley, including heavy and operating equipment.
- Achieve the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all kitchen and food preparation areas, following vessel sanitation standards.
- Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitized.
- Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and end of each working schedule.
- Quickly clean up spills to avoid hindering operations.
- Wash cookware, utensils, and cutlery efficiently to keep them in rotation.
- Take out the garbage following vessel food waste procedures.
- Assist with routine food preparation tasks (e.g., peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed.
Safety & Compliance:
- Be aware of and follow security, fire, and safety procedures according to vessel rules and regulations.
- Attend departmental meetings and training sessions when requested.
- Perform all assigned duties efficiently, following company standards and training manual procedures.
