Faststream is recruiting for a Senior IT Officer

Faststream Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, premium British cruise line to recruit an experienced Senior IT Officer for their fleet.

The Role:

Deliver onboard technical support to crew and guests while managing and optimising all IT infrastructure to ensure maximum system availability and excellent end-user service.
Lead, mentor and support IT Officer(s) onboard, acting as the senior IT representative and key liaison between shipboard teams and shoreside IT.

Requirements:
  • Previous cruise ship experience as IT Officer/Senior IT Officer
  •  Maintain, troubleshoot and resolve issues across shipboard hardware and software systems, including Wi-Fi, door access systems, POS, SPMS, MMS, AMOS, MXP, and server/switch infrastructure.
  • Experience with VSAT and maritime connectivity
  • Solid troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
  • Strong management and communication skills
The offer:
  • 2 months on 2 months off rotation
  • $3987 per month plus accumulated leave pay at the end of each contract
