Faststream Recruitment is proud to partner with a highly reputable and long-established cruise operator to recruit an experienced Master for their fleet. 
  
The Role

As Master, you will take full command of the vessel, ensuring the safe navigation and operation of the ship at all times. You will be responsible for leading a highly professional bridge team, upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance, and guest experience.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Overall command and safe operation of the vessel
• Leadership and management of all onboard departments
• Ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies
• Maintaining exceptional safety culture and standards onboard
• Delivering a high level of guest satisfaction through visible leadership
• Liaising with shore-based management and port authorities

  
Requirements

• Master Mariner (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency
• Previous command experience on passenger vessels (cruise experience or similar preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven track record in safety management and operational excellence
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Valid Seagoing documentation inc GMDSS, ECDIS, HELM and necessary STCW
