Shorex Manager - French Speaking

• Providing a friendly and efficient service to guests, creating ‘Ambassador Moments’ and leading to total guest and company satisfaction
• Manage all Destination Experiences (DE) operations onboard and in port
• Liaise with Agents to provide regular sales and operation updates
• Close liaison with Head Office, Agents and onboard management team to ensure an efficient DE operation
• Play an active role in the ship’s Emergency Response Plan
• Prepare accurate invoices following each port of call for Agent approval
• Maximise sales and profit in line with Head Office targets by continually analysing sales and managing inventory
• Manage, train and coach the DE Team to develop their skills and knowledge
• Prepare and manage DE Front Desk team rota, maximising opening hours.
• Support DE team with Front Desk duties and always be available to guests who wish to speak with DE Manager
• Conduct pre-cruise planning and regular operational meetings with the DE Team to ensure all are engaged and aware of sales targets, duties and responsibilities
• Manage the Destination Presenter to ensure accuracy of presentations and that focus is placed on promotion of the correct Experiences to maximise sales, revenue, and profit
• Conduct site inspections regularly in order to check that all experiences meet expectations and are up to standards
• Provide thorough and detailed feedback and point out eventual improvement opportunities
• Oversee handling of all DE complaints and liaise with Head Office when required regarding solutions and response
• Be available for meetings with Head Office personnel on turnaround days as requested
• Provide a positive working environment by ensuring all staff are treated fairly and equally
• Conduct regular and end of contract appraisals for all DE team members
• Lead by example by ensuring all company policies and procedures are always adhered to
• Any other duties as reasonably requested by Hotel Director
