About the job

Responsible for delivering an exceptional massage service for our travelers in accordance with Grand Circle Cruise Line (GCCL) standards, while contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing breads, pastries, and other baked goods in accordance with menu cycle
• Responsible for organizing “mise en place”, appropriate storage, and keeping of goods
• Responsible for hygiene in the galley in accordance with HACCP regulations
• Actively supporting and assisting culinary and restaurant team
• Any other duties advised by the Executive Chef/Hotel Manager

Skills/Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of relevant job experience, preferably on passenger ships
• Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment
• Friendly and energetic attitude
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and progress
• Good command of English
• For non-European candidate visa might be required based on embarkation port
• Seaman book
• Certificates (at the expense of employee):
• Basic Safety Training (STCW Code VI/1)
• Security Awareness (STCW Code VI/6-1)
• Proficiency in Survival craft and Rescue Boats (STCW Code VI/2)
• Ship Cook’s certificate a requirement by the MLC 2006
• Passenger Ship Safety (STCW Code V/2)
• Yellow fever

o Gross monthly salary: 1.600 – 1.870 EUR, including base pay and potential additional earning such as bonuses, depending on experience and internal pay structure
