Youth Coordinator/Supervisor- Luxury Cruise Line

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and caring Youth Coordinator to deliver exceptional youth programming aboard a luxury cruise vessel. This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for children and teenagers while supporting the overall onboard entertainment program.

Key Responsibilities

Youth Activities & Guest Engagement

* Plan, organize, and supervise engaging activities for children and teenagers of various age groups.
* Design and deliver creative, recreational, and educational programs.
* Ensure the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of all children participating in onboard activities.
* Host games, trivia, karaoke, themed parties, and other youth-focused events.
* Accompany and assist with youth-related shore activities when required.
* Build positive relationships with children, teenagers, and their families by delivering exceptional guest service.

Guest Experience

* Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for young guests and their families.
* Socialize with guests in public areas and host dining tables as assigned.
* Attend welcome receptions, farewell events, and other shipboard social functions.
* Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and feedback.
* Anticipate guest needs and contribute to an outstanding onboard experience.

Operations & Administration

* Assist with embarkation and disembarkation procedures.
* Support the onboarding and orientation of new entertainment team members.
* Assist guests at information desks when required.
* Adapt schedules and activities to meet operational needs.
* Maintain accurate records and communicate operational issues to supervisors.

Safety & Compliance

* Supervise children at all times while participating in organized activities.
* Participate in mandatory safety drills and training.
* Follow all shipboard safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
* Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with company policies and maritime regulations.

 Qualifications

* Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
* Minimum of 3–5 years' experience working with children in hospitality, recreation, education, childcare, youth programming, or a luxury hospitality environment.
* Physically and medically fit for shipboard employment.
* High level of professionalism, integrity, and responsibility.

* Experience with design or presentation software is an asset.
* General computer literacy.

Work Environment

This is a shipboard position requiring flexibility and a high level of guest interaction. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, lifting or moving equipment up to 50 lbs (23 kg), and working evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular schedules in a dynamic international environment.
