Hotel Fitter (Cruise)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Fitter to join our hotel maintenance team onboard an international cruise vessel.

As a Hotel Fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring that guest and crew accommodation areas, public spaces, and hotel facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and comfortable onboard environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out repairs and maintenance of cabins, public areas, and crew accommodations
Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, tiling, and general fitting works
Install, repair, and replace fixtures, furniture, doors, locks, and fittings
Support refurbishment projects and upkeep of hotel spaces
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments
Follow company safety procedures and environmental standards

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Hotel Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Carpenter, or similar role
Experience in hospitality, cruise ships, hotels is preferred
Practical skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general repairs
Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
Proficiency in English
STCW Basic Safety Training (BST)
Crowd Management Certificate
Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate
Seaman's Book
Valid Passport (minimum 6 months validity)
