Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and bake pizzas and related items in line with company recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Develop skills and confidence across the full pizza range by routinely practicing dough handling, topping, baking, slicing, and service preparation techniques.
• Follow guidance from the Chief Baker and CDP Pizza to plan and execute daily production, adjusting as needed for guest volume and itinerary.
• Monitor ingredient quality, rotation, and availability, promptly informing the Chief Baker/CDP Pizza of any shortages or issues.
• Use ingredients efficiently, strictly following recipes and portion controls to minimize waste while maintaining product quality.
• Set up, operate, clean, and store pizza equipment and workstations safely and hygienically in accordance with public health and company standards.
• Adhere to the daily production schedule and any special requests, ensuring products are ready on time for all relevant outlets and service periods.
• Support a clean, organized, and safe galley environment, promptly addressing spills and hazards and participating in scheduled cleaning routines.
• Work collaboratively with the broader galley and restaurant teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality pizza offering and positive guest experience.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• At least 1 year of experience in a pizza, bakery, or similar galley/kitchen environment.
• Working knowledge of basic pizza preparation, dough handling, topping, baking, and presentation standards.
• Basic understanding of food safety, public health, and sanitation regulations, ideally including cruise or large-scale catering operations.
• Ability to follow standard recipes, portion controls, and production schedules accurately.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and complete work within set deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written, with the ability to understand kitchen instructions and safety guidance.
• A proactive, positive attitude with a strong focus on teamwork, reliability, and supporting a safe, inclusive working environment.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop skills to progress within the bakery/pizza team.

This position involves regular physical activity, including standing for extended periods and lifting or moving heavy items in line with operational requirements.
