Your chartered goal

• Deliver high-quality primary, emergency, and critical care services to guests and crew in a modern shipboard medical center
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a diverse range of medical conditions using evidence-informed clinical practice
• Perform clinical procedures, diagnostic imaging (X-ray and point-of-care ultrasound), and laboratory testing to support patient care
• Coordinate specialist referrals, telemedicine consultations, and medical evacuations.
• Support public health, infection prevention, hygiene, and crew wellness programs, including chronic disease management
• Contribute to the safe and effective operation of the medical center through administration, training, emergency drills, inspections, and exceptions customer service

Your previous ports of call

• Medical qualification from an accredited medical school with a valid license to practice medicine (Approbation or equivalent)
• Minimum three years of recent postgraduate clinical experience, including general and emergency medicine
• Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certification (or recognized equivalent qualifications) advantageous
• Experience in remote or resource-limited healthcare settings is advantageous; POCUS certification and ultrasound experience are strongly preferred
• Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken (minimum CEFR level B2)
• Competence in Microsoft 365 and experience with electronic health record
• Strong sense of responsibility, empathy, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills
